WESCAR was created to establish a uniform set of rules and regulations and control the cost of racing.

The WESCAR OK Tire Challenge Series currently is ranked as the largest racing programs ever put together in the Central Interior of British Columbia.

There are 8 OK Tire Challenge Series races scheduled for the 2004 season. There will be 2 in Prince George, 2 in Quesnel, 1 in Williams Lake, 1 in Terrace, 1 in Vernon, and possibly 1 in Hythe, Alberta.
