Re:   Ford head rules

As per discussion on ford rules, we have compared flow numbers, power increase from compression ratio, and dyno numbers. In the research we have done we are recomending the ford cars carry a 50 pound weight penalty . we would also like to see the ford be able to notch the front crossmember ,however required , to fit in a wet sump oil pan like the chev engines. this would be a large cost saving the external oil pump is expensive. modification allowed to Gt 40 and Gt40p factory explorer heads as follows.

(this is the same engine lake city ford car was running last year)

   - may relocate rocker studs 
   - may use chevrolet 1.6 rocker arms 
   - all other rules in the book remain the same
 									
Wescar board of directors should be able to add weight penilties to ford cars as well as pro top line head cars for the 2004 season.
