#0 - Brett Young

Prince George diver Brett Young '0' car is almost ready. He expects to fire the engine April 17th and be ready to orbit the PGARA speedway in practice shortly. Brett's car sports brighter Orange and deeper Blue and will be sponsored again by Leavitt Machinery for the 2005 season.

Few changes have been made the 2004 season 2nd place car. Brett will be watching race data carefully as he rolls through the season, looking for any patterns and any possible ways to improve on his finishing positions. He came close to winning some main events with a 3rd at Sun Valley speedway in Vernon and a 2nd in Wiliams Lake in the August race. After a rough 2004 season start in Prince George due to getting collected in a lap 11 backstraight multi car incident, Brett collected his parts and thoughts and finished up in the runnerup spot for the WESCAR OKTire Challenge Series.

He is anxious to get back to racing May 14th, but Brett tells me he is more anxious to get out and ride his new 1500cc Victory motocycle. Maybe Victory will show up in Brett's WESCAR vocabulary in 2005.

See you at the track, season opener is May 14 at PGARA.
