#92 - Gary MacCarthy

Gary MacCarthy, driver of the #92 WESCAR latemodel stockcar from
Terrace, B.C. Gary is the owner of the Gary MacCarthy GM in Terrace
that sponsors the weekend of racing when WESCAR comes to town.
Gary MacCarthy driver of the #92 WESCAR latemodel sportsman sponsored by MacCarthy GM Last year in weeks prior to the arrival of the WESCAR teams, somebody played a practical joke on Gary and gave his car a new paint scheme. Last year Gary MacCarthy was winner of one of the preliminary races on the WESCAR weekend. Racing was rained out Saturday and ran the next day under sunny skies.

Over the winter, Gary and John Cooper have completely redone the car.
As well, the fibreglass Camaro body has been replaced with an all new
Monte Carlo body, installed by Ernie Perkins

ps. Just in case you've ever wondered how drivers choose their car numbers,
Gary's number (#92) was chosen when he started racing in 1992,
and also since his favorite Nextel Cup driver has the exact opposite number,
