#17 Leonard Wilnechenko, Prince George, B.C.
Leonard Wilnechenko, driver of the Tropical Pool and Spa #17 2007 Monte Carlo and his crew are the team of the week. All of the crew worked so hard this winter building and preparing the car then travelled the 7+ hour trip to Vernon from Prince George only to suffer an unexpected mechanical part failure that held them back from making the WESCAR 100 at SunValley Speedway.
The crew includes Leonard Wilnechenko junior and senior, Larry Dupuis and Gary Hutchen. The team was welcomed back to the WESCAR series after a one year hiatus. The team has seen success at a variety of tracks and looks forward to doing well at their home track of PGARA in May.
